Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of data held by 8th Wave Media LLC through the 8th Wave Marketing Engine, including any data obtained from connected platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram).

How to request deletion

You can request deletion in either of these ways:

In the platform — open the Connections page and disconnect the relevant account. This immediately revokes our ongoing access to that platform’s data.
By email — send a request to cameron@8thwavemedia.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request,” from the email address associated with your account, and tell us what you would like deleted.
Right here — submit the form below and we’ll log your request and give you a confirmation code to track it.

What we delete

Stored access tokens and credentials for connected accounts.
Data retrieved from connected platforms (such as advertising insights and Page data).
Marketing content, analytics, and customer or contact records associated with your account, unless we are required to retain certain records by law.

Timing and confirmation

We process deletion requests within 30 days; the status page for your confirmation code shows when it is complete. Some information may remain in routine backups for a limited period before being overwritten, and we may retain records required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

Revoke Meta access directly

You can remove our access from Meta at any time. In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, select 8th Wave Media Marketing, and remove it. On Instagram, remove the connection under Settings → Apps and Websites.
